Q wouldn't say his time on the island so far had been as productive as he would have liked. Whilst he was a very sociable creature and, for a scientist of sorts, was very apt at suspending his beliefs in reality to many extents, the presence of some of the other beings on the island had really pushed him to some of his limits.
The thing was, he thought he could be very useful here. There were lots of things he could do with all of the things laying around, but he didn't know to whom he should present himself, nor if he should just go ahead and start making things, because he didn't want to be seen as a hostile entity amongst all of these supernaturally powered beings.
Still, Q had needed something to occupy his time. He had thought of going to find Mr. Tucker, who had been very helpful, but he didn't really want to be a bother. So he had started working on a few little things, various gadgets that were half finished because he didn't have everything he needed yet (though he was sure he could find them somewhere on the island...) So now Q sat with a pile of odd bits that he was pulling apart to find the electrical wiring or the screws, adding them to the few little bags he had managed to salvage to keep his crap. This was turning in to a high-tech Lord of the Flies. So far no sacrifices. No giant wicker men.
It's warm though, which is nice. Because Q doesn't like the cold. He doesn't particularly care for the heat, either. Or any type of weather. But it's pleasant so far. He's taking each day as it comes.
