Once her mind wasn't fog addled anymore she had spent the time cleaning up messes she assumed she had made. The animals she had used to make them had been unrecognizable, though she wasn't sure if it was wholly her fault or if they had been eaten on. All she had been able to smell had been the blood. And there was a great deal of it. If she could do that to some large creatures she knew there would have been nothing left of James or the twins if she had ever got a hold of them. That was something that would haunt her. She had been that animal that she had never wanted to be again. She stood in the blown out window. Blood matted her hair so that they resembled dreadlocks without the natting. What was left of her clothes were crisp and clinging. She was barefooted. And she barely noted any of it. She was lost in her own thoughts. |
