Re: Kytana and Jake
Words, always so many words, so much noise! He collided with a tree that suddenly appeared in front of him, and landed on the ground in a sprawled heap, covered in yet more cuts from the branches snapping and digging into him. He jumped to his feet and threw the broken tree at the human before trying to get at her once again.
That set the tone for the whole time they were fighting; Jake would attack, Kytana would block and evade and shove him out of the way, talking almost the whole time and picking up minor injuries when Jake got frustrated with the various things she pulled into his path and threw them at her. One time, he almost made contact with her, his fingertips just grazing the edge of her cloak, but then they were moving apart and he bounced off of the cave wall again.
He had grabbed his knife from the ground where it had landed a while back, and was intending to throw it at the human when he realized something. It was quiet. Other than their harsh breathing, everything was quiet. He stopped and looked around; he could see more than a couple meters in front of him, he could see trees in the distance. He didn't know what the hell was going on any more, and he really didn't like being so confused.
