His knife had smashed into the hilt of what turned out to be some strange sort of light sword. He hissed at it, and the tawtute wielding it, and pushed down with all his strength, although he faltered slightly as she spoke. His blade slipped as he paused - bone against metal was never going to win - and he stumbled towards her, the momentum from jumping still carrying him forward.
He didn't try to catch himself, intending to let his greater weight work to his advantage and knock the human to the forest floor.
