"Pay them no mind," She noticed his glance toward the chattering girls. She knew already that they weren't talking about them. Maryanne's keen senses kept her aware of the comings and goings of everyone in the shop. She had to be sure there would be no reports to SHIELD or Hydra of the whereabouts of people she cared about. "One of the other reasons I wanted to be here before you was to make sure there were no bugs or snoops."
Rotating her shoulders a bit she shifted so that she was a touch more comfortable in her seat. "I'm not exactly sure what use I could be to you Doctor. To be blunt I'm not sure what use I could be to her either, nor do I care to be. Her like or dislike of me is none of my business, unless it takes a turn towards violence on her part. Violence toward me does not mean I will issue equal violence toward her. But I can't say the same about my husbands. Or my wife." Leaning forward she collected her cup of hot cocoa. "I'm not exactly sure what my eldest son would do either. Like me he is a hunter. And I don't doubt that I taught him everything I know."
