Under normal circumstances Kat would have feared the fog. Holly would have told her to stay inside. But right now... it did not matter. She did not feel like anything could hurt her anymore. She had heard whispers, she had seen the shadows but defiantly she held her chin into the mist surrounding her.
Hope was one of the people she could sense. Even though she couldn't spot her immediately, Kat knew where Hope was. With determined steps she crossed the distance. She held onto the stone and the picture like they were weapons.
When she reached the angel, she did not bother with greetings. "This needs repairing..." she held up the ruby red stone. It had a smooth surface with runes covering his outside. A light shimmered inside and on one corner a chunk was missing. Next she held out the picture for Hope to take. "That's for you. Let's just say I'm on that picture. Am I interesting enough for you?"
