A trick? He looked up at the other man, considering him for a moment in case this was a trick. But he took the hand that was offered and pulled himself off the floor, making sure the towel was still secure. He looked in the mirror. It was true, neither of them could be seen in it. "A gag?" he repeated quietly to himself.
He let out an uncertain chuckle. Given his experiences so far he'd actually had the thought that maybe he didn't exist. But he was solid and the other man was solid and neither of them showed up in the mirror. It being an illusion, a trick was a much more logical conclusion than his being a ..spirit or something. Then again, logic didn't necessarily seem to be at play here.
"Sorry," he apologised for worrying the other man. "I just.. I wasn't sure what to think." He still wasn't, really, but it was easier to accept the reason he'd been given than continue on the line he had been.
