"Tell me about it-" Nina sighed out softly, with an eyeroll, as if loving George were such a trial -- of course it was very clear she wasn't being serious. It was in fact not at all a trial, and there wasn't a day she didn't feel lucky to have met him; her smile still held.
Nina nodded a little. "It makes sense-" She said honestly, not entire sure where she stood. There were dark days, often where this place was not one to raise children in, perhaps any other thought would be a purely selfish one. That or it was one more thing to lose, one more person who needed you, who you risked leaving if the Island decided to take you away. But she wasn't about to blurt any of that to the woman she cared for, now beaming over her tiny, beautiful newborns. A spitfire she might be, it wasn't the place nor time for Nina to project own fears. It wasn't a matter of judging others, just it might see out Eve as an only child.
Regardless of having children on this Island being a good, or bad idea these babies would be loved dearly, and protected by many.
"Mitchell?" That she did blurt, in surprise, brows furrowed in confusion. Unable to help herself and wishing she had. Mitchell was probably the last person she'd name a child after, though she had a rather different relationship with him, than Maryanne did. But wasn't she a girl? Not your place to say. "Don't let being a namesake go to his head, will you?" She warned, with a fonder hint to her tone.
Distraction by adorable infant was rather easy, as she smiled again and made to very carefully pick up the wriggler, the most awake of the three it seemed. It was impossible not to beam at rather active bundle in her arms. "Ah, Howard. A charmer then are you?" Nina asked the baby, as if he'd have an answer.
