"I'm sure he wouldn't mind." A special favour, after all and Maryanne deserved something nice and carbohydrate-y after all the hard work. "I'll ask him." At that, Nina did peer out to look for George in the hall, but she could already see him leaving - Nina could only assume he'd heard, and nicked off to fetch the food. She grinned, generally he'd go out of his way for those he cared about. "I think you're in luck. Sure he won't be too long." She assured, leaving George to take care of it.
"I know." Nina smiled again, in her eyes Maryanne seemed a born nurterer and if she hadn't been she'd certainly become one. "But, you know- there's nothing wrong with cherishing that little bit of time you've got with just the babies." Sometimes siblings might get a little jealous, and Maryanne's home now practically had a small crowd of children, all of them under school age. Time, along with peace and quiet were going to be very hard to come by, but that was sort of the whole point of having kids wasn't? To fill a home with life, and noise and for the most part happiness.
"Don't suppose I could I have a hold?" She asked tentatively, she wouldn't want to impose, after having just assured Maryanne she should indulge in some time with her newborn triplets.
