Cuddy and Open
Attending a barn dance was a new experience for Cuddy. She was used to more formal affairs, fundraisers for her hospital back home and the like. It sounded like it would be a nice time for a good reason; she knew Applejack did a great deal for the island. Her daughter, Rachel, did love the apples the farm provided.
Cuddy hadn't been sure what to wear and had settled on a strapless plaid dress, that she thought looked fun. Rachel was home with a sitter, so she had come to the party alone. Cuddy sipped a glass of cider and watched the people at the dance. She was hoping to see Giles, but would be happy to talk to anyone.
