Who: Raymond, Melinda, Cuddy
When: Wednesday afternoon
Where: Cliffs than Hospital
What: Raymond decides to go cliff diving to feel some kind of adrenaline rush. He makes it to the water but the tide comes in and knocks him into a huge rock. Melinda was out exploring and notices that whole thing and goes to save him and brings him to the hospital.
Status/Rating: Incomplete...Ongoing/PG-13ish
Open: After the hospital its open to Anastasia and Joe if he wants to join

Raymond was still on his kick from losing his dad and then there was the fact that he thought that Grace hated him because they weren't even talking. Instead of trying to talk to her and going over, he just mainly focused on doing other things. He was down at the beach just watching the waves roll. He would look over and saw some cliffs and mountains. He had always wanted to try Cliff Diving, he had never done it before but heard great things about it. That it gave you some sort of adrenaline rush or something.

So he started to walk up the mountains until he reached the edge and found himself looking down. "Oh boy, this is really high." He began to tell himself. As he thought of many ways to back out, he decided to just do it. So he closed his eyes and ran and jumped. He screamed all the way down and then he hit water and came back up. Looking up he smiled, he had actually done something fun and what a rush that was. He dunked himself into the water once more and then when he came back up, he saw the tide was coming in and what a rush, he couldn't make it and the undertow took him and dragged him into a huge rock. Everything went black after that.

Melinda had decided that she was going to take a break from everything and spend the day exploring. She found herself just walking up the mountain and admiring the view. But then she noticed Raymond, what the hell was he doing. She hid herself behind a tree and watched his whole thing, laughing when he made it to the bottom. She stared down and thought that was awesome. She was about to yell something when she noticed the tide and she didn't see Raymond coming back up. "Oh no...no no no no no!" She said as she orbed herself to the water and tried to find him. Finally she found him and picked him up in the water and orbed them to the hospital.

She knew that she was getting everything wet, but she didn't care at all. He needed a doctor and now. "HELP!! HELP ME....I NEED A DOCTOR! THIS BOY IS SERIOUSLY INJURED." She was frantic because she didn't know what was going to happen.

Cuddy was startled by the sudden appearance of Melinda, but she snapped into action, grabbing a gurney and bringing it to her. "Put him down here gently." She instructed. As soon as the patient was on the gurney, Cuddy checked to make sure he was breathing on his own. "Hey. Hey. Can you hear me?" She asked, snapping her fingers near his ears, then moving onto check reflexes, pupil size and reactions to pain.

When there was no response, Cuddy looked back to the woman that brought him in. Since her patient couldn't communicate, she would have to rely on Melinda for information. "What happened?"

Raymond lay in her arms limp, Melinda began to panic at that time. Was he going to die? Oh boy, she would have to text his mom who was probably going to freak out, she didn't need that since she was pregnant. When Cuddy asked if she could hear him, Melinda looked down concerned. This was not going ot end well.

Just then Cuddy asked her what had happened. "He was cliff diving. I saw it from behind the scenes, he didn't know I was there. I was going for a walk. He had made it and he was celebrating when the tide came in and then I didn't see him come back up. I...I think he hit his head. I tried to heal him, but it wouldn't work."

Cuddy gave Melinda a nod. "Thank you. That's very helpful." Cuddy could skip testing for drugs, other toxins, illness, infection, etc and concentrate on checking him for injuries. "I'm going to need to take him up to the imaging department soon. Do you know him well? Would you know if he has mental anywhere in his body? Screws from a broken limb, anything like that?"

"You're very welcome. I just hope that I got him here on time." She says as she looked down at her friend. "Not that I know of no. He doesn't have any metal whatsoever in him." Shrugging her shoulders. She got out her phone and began to look at her contacts. "While he's up there, I'll go and call or text his mother. How long should it take to know the results of what happened?" She asked.

	"It's difficult to say. We'll do a CT and an MRI. We may need to do additional scans, depending on what they show...It'll be at least an hour, probably longer." 	"Okay, yeah sounds good. I'll give his mom a call and I'm sure she will be over fairly quickly. If she comes alone, I'll sit with her." She then realized that she was still wet. 	"Spare clothes, no. But Jason can show you where to get scrubs to wear." Cuddy told her, though she was looking at her patient and moving the gurney towards the elevators. Jason looked at Melinda and nodded his head towards a hallway. "This way. I can get you some towels too if you wanna dry off." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Scrubs are better than nothing at this point." She said as she tucked her hair behind her ear. "Thank you, and I'll be in touch with Ana." She looked at her friend once again as he was being wheeled to the elevator.

"That would be great, thank you." She said with a smile. "Usually I would orb home and change, but I don't want to miss if Ana comes and I'm not here to be with her and stuff."

	As she followed him to the staff locker rooms, she looked at him and nodded. "Yeah, I can travel by blue orbs and I can get from point A to point B in 30 or less seconds. I get it from my dad." She said shrugging. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"What's a blue orb?" Jason asked, though he wasn't looking at her, instead he was opening a cabinet and pulling out scrubs. "I hope green's okay." He said, passing a pair that he guessed was about her size. He opened a different cabinet and pulled out some towels. "Here." He held them out. "There are some stalls to the right, you can dry off and change there. Showers are on the left if you wanna clean up."

	"It's kind of hard to explain. I basically sparkle blue and white when I leave a place." She then decided to show him. "Here let me show you." She then thought of a place and orbed there and orbed back. "That's what I can do. It's how I got to Raymond so fast and how I got him here." She took the scrubs and the towel and smiled. Anastasia was running frantic, why would her son be so stupid as to go cliff diving in the first place. Was this to get some type of attention. Whatever it was, Ana was going to give him just enough attention now. She couldn't help with her blubbering mess. She was just grateful that Melinda was able to get him to the hospital. She practically waddled to her car and got into Wanda and started her up.

Driving to the hospital, she found a spot and than waddled in. Pregnancy was really starting to takes its toll on her, her back was always in pain. Finding Melinda, she told her that Jason Murphy would update her on things. "Looking for a Jason Murphy please? My son was in a terrible accident."

Anastasia was frantic. "Jason Murphy. I need Jason Murphy please! I need to know what is going on with my son!" Tears ran down her face as she was searching for him. Just then Melinda walked towards her wearing scrubs. "Ana, I'm so sorry. I saw it and didn't stop him." She said as she gave her a hug. Ana hugged her back, "it's not your fault Melinda. I'm so glad you got him here." Melinda nodded her head, "Hopefully you'll find out soon"

That was until Ana saw Joe and raced to him and wrapped her arms around him. "Oh I'm so glad you are here right now. I don't know what's going on. He's still up there getting his scans."
