Shepard shrugged. "It is, it was, but a commander goes down with her ship, if she has to. To make sure everyone else gets out." She knew Joker still blamed himself for her death. Hell she blamed herself for the rest.
"Yeah, I wouldn't want to do anything to wreck my youthful glow." She grinned, obviously teasing him.
"EDI would be very insulted that you found her in need of upgrades." She deadpanned. "But I'm sure she'd be up for the adventure of time travel." If they could figure it out. But this was theoretical talk anyway.
Shepard hummed for a moment. She waved the palm of her hand, that held components of the omnitool, over one of the screens not far a way and brought up a picture of Garrus Vakarian. "That is a Turian. And this... Is an Asari." She waved her palm toward another screen and brought up a picture of Liara T'soni. Each image had their names beneath them. "And as far as needing other languages..." She tapped her ear. "Most comm chips come with translation protocol. If the species doesn't speak galactic common, then it's translated, and visa versa."
She shrugged, "I guess, I'm not much of one to sit and play one. I like the battle simulators that you can actually be one on one with your enemy." Soldier, through and through. There was no denying it.
