"Wow," he breathed, gazing at her in wonder for a moment. It was purely curiosity about the technology, but he realised quickly that he was just staring her down like a creep. "I mean- ouch, but wow. Impressive," he smiled.
"Aye, it's pretty cool," he told her as he browsed.
"Ah! Oh, that's so bloody obvious, right? Even if there was anything in range, they probably wouldn't have the technology to pick it up, and definitely not to respond," he nodded. Why hadn't he thought of that?
"Hmm?" he looked at her in alarm, and then back to the controller- unsure if she was joking or not. "Lots of weird old shit in here, eh?" he mused, gently placing the strange object back on the shelf.
