Who: Nigel, Jake x2, and Aaron Where: Pub at first What: DRINKING When: Tuesday night Rating: High for swearing Open: Nope Status: Ongoing
Aaron had shucked off the leather at the door, the jacket hung nicely on a hook as he had swanned straight in and grabbed beer for the Jakes. They were good fun and game for a drink or two when most people had responsibilities and families. Not that Aaron didn't have a family: he thought of Jake as a brother, or as close as he had ever gotten to a brother before. Beer was just the way it worked between them with the odd bottle of tequila between the beers if he had had a long day or a fight with Marta.
Swigging from the bottle at the table, Aaron eyed the Jakes. "Sook's like a sister to you two, right?" he mumbled, picking at the label on the beer bottle. He had seen her new guy hanging around and had tailed him a couple of times, not knowing if Jake or Tommy had done anything. Aaron's instincts about this guy were fuzzy at best and he was done with sneaking about: Sook was happy but she was Jake's family and Jake was his family so he had to look after her too. "She needs looking after."
