Anders blinked as he listened to her speak. It certainly sounded complicated, weird and just a bit crazy. But then again, he was the living incarnation of a Norse God; his 92 year old grandfather barely looked older than him; and hell, his mother went and became a tree. Twice. So who was he to judge.
"That's quite a story, so you're from the future? That's cool, it's a shame this place doesn't have the lottery or sports to bet on," he quipped with a grin. "Oh, I've been here almost two months now, so I think we missed each other in the crossover of you disappearing and me being dumped on my arse in the middle of trees."
