Anders and Kytana.
Kytana had been able to feel the joy of the season stretching far and wide. Over the whole island, and then some, she was sure. Though the Jedi, wise beyond her years, knew it was induced. It wasn't something that was true. Yet it was so strong that it drown out the darkness that she felt creeping along the edges.
Curiosity got the best of her, as did the hope to at least catch a glimpse of House, and she followed the sensations from the Jedi Enclave down to the center of the city. Where the Spire converted into the largest evergreen that she'd ever seen. Of course she had spied it through out the month, yet never felt tempted enough to get a closer look. It had still held that same taint. Today was different.
It didn't take long to see what all the fuss was about. There was a mountain of gifts. On the tree. Under the tree. Around the tree. Given a closer look they were all from the same person. Santa. Wasn't he a myth?
Regardless Kytana caught herself looking for her own name when a man not to far from her spoke up. Though not to her, obviously. Just as her eye caught onto a ribbon, a simple ribbon tied to a branch with her name on it. "I could help you." She responded, loud enough to be heard, yet slightly distracted as she reached forward to pluck the ribbon free. Upon doing so it proved to be longer than she had thought. The other end trailed out from between other gifts, as she pulled, down the street. How had she missed that before, it seemed to be attached to something else, out of sight. That was certainly odd.
