Indeed, Spencer also slept most peacefully that - morning, given that he didn't even get to bed till well after Midnight; after all, he'd been a little bit busy kicking the arse of someone else on Yahoo!Chess... Anyway's, well, he was up at the crack of dawn, as he normally was on Christmas morning: being too bloody excited for the day ahead of him to actually sleep!
For a moment, at least, he realised he was all alone here, and thus - there was no Christmas to look forward to, after all... But then, juts when he was about to roll back over and return to the arms of the Sandman - well... I do believe that the Magic of Christmas overcame him, and he rose and got into his slippers, before heading straight out the door - no shower, no changing out of his pyjamas, he was lucky to remember his slippers, he was so bloody EXCITED all of a sudden - and walking straight to the Tree of the Spire.
He grimaced as he spied the crowd about the tree, but then - used his skinniness to his advantage, and slipped in between two people, just to see what all the fuss was about... And that's when he spotted it: the giant package with his name upon it: "To: Spencer Reid; From: Santa! Ho ho ho!" He gleefully snatched up the parcel, and of course, found it a little bit heavy...
