Maryanne had felt trapped in her skin for far to long. So she decided, since she felt pretty mobile at the moment, that she was going to speed up the healing process. And simply deal with a spanking from Hulk later, if she had too. There was a small part of her need to be free that wasn't selfish, Daryl with their baby was so entirely sexy that she wasn't completely sure she could behave herself for a week. If she shifted, and healed, then while Tim slept she'd be able to pounce, and make up for lost time. Now was one of those moments, as she eased through the living area, where she felt like she was about to burst. There was no missing the sexiest man on earth stretched out on the couch, asleep, with their son on his bare chest(who was just as conked out). Pausing she snapped a picture, before leaving a fresh bottle of breast milk, and a note explaining she was going for a run, and wouldn't be long (signed with love of course). She also didn't resist the urge to place a feather light kiss on Daryl's forehead, followed by one on their son's delicate crown. Slipping out of their apartment, Maryanne went down to the street before she quickly shucked her clothes and shifted. (Not wanting to wake the sleeping pair). Gathering up her clothes in her mouth she darted down the sidewalk. She barely noted the chill as it tousled her fur. Nor did she pay much attention to where she was going. She knew there was no way she'd get lost in this place. It wasn't until she reached the outer banks of the city that she started to slow. Marked how good it felt to be free. Stopping for a great shake under one of the awnings, she felt the creep of 'danger' up her spine. Lifting her head she took in great whiffs of the cold air. Relaxing when she realized who it had to be. Following the feeling rather than his scent, Maryanne stopped in front of the building he had to be hold up in. Standing on her rear paws she decided to test something. If he'd feel her emotions as she was, or if animal wavelengths were off his radar. Pushing the door open she padded in. Dropping the bundle of clothes from her mouth, she chirped at him. Taking a seat her long tail wrapping around her forepaws. The only evidence that she wasn't a wild creature were her startling blue eyes, and the bundle of clothes at her feet. |
