The problem with Malcolm was that he talked a lot of sense, and he tended to say things she was already thinking. She knew she was being stupid with the offers of blood like it was something she didn't need in the slightest, like offering up her veins to a bunch of vampires was a perfectly normal and reasonable thing to do, but it really wasn't. The situation she'd been in with Cutler a few weeks before was only proof of that. She couldn't keep doing this, Malcolm was right. It wasn't her responsibility. Why was she the only one stupid enough to offer so willingly? She made her way up the stairs towards Cutler's room, feeling entirely shit about the whole thing. Still it wasn't as if she was pulling out altogether, they just really needed to talk about what was his plans were, and then of course there was the matter of Stefan, she wondered if he knew about that, or if he was as clueless as she'd been. Knocking on the door she waited a little impatiently for Cutler to answer. |
