Annie/Mitchell/Maryanne open to George and Nina
Maryanne was almost as giddy as Mitchell was, or she felt like it anyway. Almost like she was feeding off of his energy as they stood there, watching Annie walk up the aisle. It took a lot of will power not to bounce on the toes of her sensible grey heels, which matched the simple grey fitted men's suit. She even wore a simple black tie for the occasion, having googled to see what an officiant actually wore to a wedding.
Though Mitchell had said she didn't have to do it, she had still gone and got officially registered in New York the day that he'd asked her. It had been her world, or a branch of it, after all. So she could make this as real for them as she could. They were her family. And she wanted to do the very best she could for her family. Her little speech on cards tucked away in her pocket, just in case she forgot any of it.
George was wibbly. His lower lip quaked as he watched Annie walk up the aisle. She was just so beautiful. It took every ounce of man power not to actually tear up. Though he really wanted too. He wore just a simple black suit and tie. Tried to look as dapper as he could, and not out shine Mitchell.
"She's so beaut-tiful." He whispered to his best mate, quieting himself when his voice cracked.
