"I assume we'd spend two days in Cairo and Giza, three at the most. Then a day on the train to Luxor, and a few days there to see Thebes and the Valley. After that we'll be sailing back north to Cairo and on our own the majority of the time. Also, whenever we're in private without outside men about we can dress how we please." She sighed and let her hands rest on her belly. "We don't have time to do a proper job of it unfortunately, even if I were in my old body and not due to give birth in just over a month. I could easily spend six months taking you to various spots of interest all over the country without a break and the door is only open a month."
She considered his second question for a moment. "Even a blind man can tell I'm a pregnant woman," she responded eventually, "but with my husband along it shouldn't be an issue. If Cal and I decide to pass ourselves off as natives I'll just tell him to keep his mouth shut and let me do the talking. If anyone asks we can say we're heading back to our home and leave it at that. There won't be enough people interacting with us long enough to connect the dots."
She just wanted to get the trip in while she still could. Rae had missed Egypt powerfully and didn't want to miss the opportunity to visit the land far more home to her than England.
"If the rest of you want to stay longer than Cal and I, I certainly won't blame you, but I'm on something of a time limit."
