Re: Sunday Dinner
Peggy looked around at all her family and friends as she sat down, tired but content at how it'd grown. She was missing a few people, perhaps, but they were still part of the extended circle of friends and family. Famished, she looked out at the spread she'd put on; roast beef, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes; carrots and parsnips, broccoli and green beans with perfect Yorkshire puddings and braised beef gravy. Everything looked as good as she was happy with and Peggy let the boys serve themselves first. "Oh, dear, can I get anyone a drink?" She said, standing as she forgot the wine.
