"Mating with a Muggle," he repeated, in a bit of a mocking tone. It was weird, being referred to as a Muggle. It sounded like something ridiculously insulted, even though he knew that she didn't mean it to be.
"Well, I think you're super special, powers or not," he told his daughter, gushing at her little cute face.
He hadn't even really noticed the change from terrified, depressed father, in proper daddy mode, but when she mentioned a photo,it hit him. He was so scared of being a father, but he already was- and he wasn't a total fuck-up.
"In your phone, love," he reminded her, even though he was still looking at his cooing little girl.
