Rhonda, of course, felt the tension build up in his shoulders, again, as he prepared to actually scream - and then, she felt him relax, as she rattled on and on about the wizarding world, and how she'd found out that she was a part of it, after all, and not a bloody Squib...! And so she'd kept on rattling and waffling on with that line, of course, desperate to keep Ernest well away from whatever dark thoughts were threatening to consume him.
At long last, he was actually smiling again, and then he remarked something to the baby about her story. "Aw, of course she has, darling; even mating with a Muggle, it's actually more common to end up with a magical child, when there's a witch or a wizard for a parent... I mean, it's not all that special if she does have powers...!" She giggled a little, as she rubbed Ernest's shoulders again, before gingerly taking her hands away to step back and observe the adorable tableau that was taking place in front of her...
"Aw, look at the two of you, Ernest sweet...! I mean, where's the bloody camera!? You simply have got to see a picture of this, I swear - and so has Bumby, when he comes home...!" She giggled again, as she searched in vain for the camera... Completely forgetting,of course, that there was a camera inside their phones!
