Her brow creased as she concentrated, looking up at Jake, then glancing toward the cave's entrance as her forehead smoothed a little again. "A little," she nodded briefly. "But different," she added, reaching behind to feel only hair, no tswin. Her eyes widened a little as the realisation hit her, and she looked at Jake. "Eywa, it is so quiet, not right," she murmured, the frown creasing her forehead again for a moment. Even here, so far from the grove, she had begun to know the different energies and sensed the way of the weyr, but now it was gone again, and she missed it.
