Clint listened to her story and nodded. He thought about exactly what to say, chewing on his lip. He kept his eyes on where they were walking as he started to speak.
“Last year, a man named Loki came to take over the world. He used a scepter to enslave me. To do his bidding. While I was under his control, I did….a lot of horrible things. I killed people that I had worked with for years. Hurt others. It was horrible. But, I wasn’t myself.” He stopped walking and looked at her. “My very dear friend Natasha knew that it wasn’t really me. She helped me get out from under Loki’s power. But, the most important thing she did was forgive me.” He smiled. “She and the other Avengers looked passed that because it wasn’t really me. They gave me another chance.” He looked into her eyes, hoping what he was saying really sank in.
“Everyone deserves a second chance. What matters is what you do with it.”

Luna listened carefully, then brightened considerably as he finished. So very wise.
"I have also been forgiven," she said in that small voice of hers, soft and melodic. "But, it is difficult for us--me--to get used to such a modern lifestyle. Now, I am neither home to learn of the ways there, or back in a time I understand." She giggled.
"I have chosen to do my best with my...second chance, as you say, and, you have a very nice foal. That is a good second chance, I believe." Luna smiled, the looked about. She didn't recognize this portion of to city.

“Charlie is my second chance, that’s very true.” He nodded. They finally arrived at the building with the doors in it. “The time that we’re going to, in New York, it’s very shortly after my friends and I stopped Loki and his army. There’s some damage to the city but a lot of it is still very nice.” He smiled.
