Rachel slipped the backpack off her shoulders before sitting down next to him. She set it between them and patted it. "I brought you some soup and some coffee and a blanket and a pillow." She cleared her throat. "Thought you might need it." She didn't look at him, kept her eyes on the plants. Figuring maybe he'd like that better.
