Rarity's eyes were round like saucers, sparkling blue against her soft white skin and blond hair. At first, she felt very sad, for there was nothing she could do to help, but that sadness became shadowed by the sweet things he said. She smiled and leaned away to put her coffee mug down, then turned and sat up on her leg to face him.
"You could admit anything you wanted," she said softly. "It doesn't change how I feel about you." She smiled, putting a hand on his arm lightly. Rarity wanted to kiss him for being so sweet, for being honest and telling her even something close to the things she'd always wanted to hear. Boys that said, "we love you Miss Rarity, can we do anything for you Miss Rarity?" back home were not the same. They fell over themselves because she was pretty and had the most perfect mane in all of Ponyville.
