The Hunter and the Hunted
Jake made his way along the path, moving from one tree to the next. Neytiri's scent seemed to be everywhere, like she'd been spending vast amounts of time in the valley, and he couldn't help but smile at the thought. He brushed his fingertips along the trees as he passed by, and then he paused by a few of the plants with bigger-than-usual leaves, wishing that they were Pandoran so that they'd light up. He'd get to show them to Tommy, tell him what they were for and then Tommy'd try and explain all the things they could do and how they lit up, what made them do it, and fucking hell, he'd listen to every word, he really would...
His ears flickered and then dropped low as he shook his head, and muttered under his breath in Na'vi, then set off to look for Neytiri yet again. She was what he was concentrating on for the evening, nothing and nobody else.
