The Hunter and the Hunted
Banshee banked left suddenly, as they were making their way towards the second enclave of plants, and Jake almost yelled at him before realizing why. Seze was sunning herself on a cliff-face, close to some food for ...well, it was for Banshee now, by the sounds of things, no matter who it had been originally intended for. Landing on the top of the cliff, Jake hopped down quickly and broke Tsaheylu, then ducked in and took one of the lumps of meat and walked over to where Seze was appearing over the cliff's edge. "Kaltxi, Seze. Ohakx?" he asked, then tossed the meat towards her, grinning at the pleased sounds both ikran were making as they ate.
Walking round the edge of the clearing at the top of the cliff, he couldn't see anywhere that looked like someone had made their way through the undergrowth, so that meant Neytiri had to have gone down the cliff. He looked over the edge and down to the base, spotting a couple of small scree slopes and a few decent-looking handholds and the like, but mainly he was trying to see if he could see any sign of his mate. "Neytiri lu tsengpe, Seze?" he called over but there was no reply. Shrugging, he made sure his bow and arrows were secure and set off down the cliff face.
