Amélie had grown up on the island and was used to the environment of her apartment. "Oh, no offense taken. I suppose it would seem that way if you're used to something cooler or more open. Especially when you're taken here so suddenly and unexpectedly." She remarked. She'd been lucky enough to visit other places through the magical doors sometimes opened on the island and was able to adapt, but never instantly. "I could open a window." She offered. "It might help."
"I'm fine." Amélie called back. "Sorry, it's just the ice machine starting up, sometimes it takes a minute.....Ah, there it goes." She watched as two ice cubes splashed into the cup of water. "I hope ice cubes are alright. I forgot to ask if you wanted crushed or cubed." She added as she walked back to him. "Do you want anything to take with it? Aspirin...Tylenol...Advil? Do they have any of those where you're from?"
