Maryanne couldn't believe she was actually going to go home. Willingly. But part of her needed to. Part of her needed to step through what had been all she knew for a majority of her life. She felt drawn. And knew she would regret it if she didn't go, just like she had when the door to Texas was open. Sure her parents were probably not there, then. But it would have been nice to go home safely. She stood in the parking garage. Bag packed, dressed modestly and comfortably. Waiting for her travel companions.
