He'd never known that feeling. Even when he'd been on his own he'd never felt alone, comfortable with his own company and his mind always giving him something to be thinking about. "I guess it would be hard, being alone in a place you didn't want to be, with no-one around," he mused, walking behind the bar again to top up his drink and add another couple of ice cubes. He remained behind the bar, this time just leaning on it opposite where Sookie was standing. "But one thing I refuse to accept is a fine young lady like yourself is being left to feel this way! What's wrong with the single men on this Island? Are they blind?" He took another quick sip from his glass before continuing.
"You can cook, you can organise, you've pitched in here in a way it seems no-one else has, and are helping out all the folk around here, and it's just wrong you're being left to feel this way! I mean it, what is wrong with the men in this place?"
