Re: Visiting Lizzie
“A dragon?!” Her voice as high as it would go. She would never understand this place as long as she lived here. Lizzie stared at him wide-eyed before tearing away her gaze to look at the mark on his hand. “It doesn't hurt does it?” She ran her finger tips over the mark gently, completely dumbstruck. “It’s going to take me a while to get used to this, Richie.” Elizabeth spoke honestly and in somewhat of a daze. “I….I don’t know what to say. I’m going to have a lot of questions over the next few days okay? When this all eventually sinks in.”
Her head turned towards the doorway of her room when Steve walked in. Though still in utter shock Elizabeth offered him a kind smile. Steve was such a hard worker despite his own ailments. “Hi Steve. Thank you. The food smells so much better than what the patients got where I was working.” She giggled lightly. “Oh, this is my brother Richie, Richie this is Steve. Although technically you've already met Steve but Steve wouldn’t have met you yet…..?” Elizabeth rambled, trying to do the maths. Her sentence curled into a question, still unsure.
Her trail of thoughts stopped at the sight of Jason. She beamed brightly, her stomach still fluttered every time Elizabeth saw him. She was wondering when that was going to end since it was getting a little annoying being a little nervous most of the time she was around him. Lizzie wasn’t expecting him back so soon but she loved him for it. She smiled widely at the gifts then kissed him back. “Oh, they’re beautiful. And, yes, Richie’s offered to heal me too but I’ll be fine healing myself, thank you.” Elizabeth was sure she got her stubbornness from her mother but she could see it in Tony sometimes. “I’d love to see her.” She turned her attention to Richie and poked his stomach playfully. “Where are my flowers, Mister?” Lizzie teased.
