Re: Visiting Lizzie
Jason was returning from visiting his twelve-year-old sister Sunila, or as he called her, Su. She was a surprisingly bright and happy child, and visiting her always put him in a good mood. As glad as he had been to see her though, he had wanted to get back to see Lizzie.
Jason opened the door to Lizzie's room and felt his mood lower. There were two guys inside. One he recognized from working at the hospital. Stew...No, Steve. That was the guy's name. The other guy was a stranger to him. Jason would have been happy that Lizzie wasn't alone in his absence, if it hadn't been for what he was currently holding in his hands. It was a gift to Lizzie from Su - a bouquet of flowers made out of paper, with a handmade card. The origami flowers were very well made for a twelve year old, but not the most manly thing to be seen carrying in public.
Jason walked into the room, being careful not to knock anything off the food cart. He placed the gift on Lizzie's beside table and leaned down to give her a gentle kiss. "Hey. I guess it's lunch time, huh?" He murmured and then straightened up, glancing to the Steve and the other guy. "Hi. I'm Jason..The gift's from Su, my little sister." Jason said, wanting to explain the girly gift as quickly as possible. He then moved his gaze back to Lizzie "She wants to come by in person sometime and try some healing mediation thing with you."
