Re: Howard, Peggy and Steve Reunion
Howard's eyes widened when he looked up at the man walking into the room, the fork he'd been holding slipping from his fingers and clattering noisily onto the plate. When he heard the question addressed to Peggy he waited, unsure as to why she wouldn't be, but using the moment to gather himself.
He observed that for a man who had spent seventy years frozen beneath Arctic ice he was looking very fit, and healthy, and Howard was still trying to go through the whole cellular deconstruction and reconstruction component in his head, recalling Erskine's formula and how it had created the man in front of him from the one he saw at the hospital just the previous week. What he didn't realised, as his mind did all this, was he was just staring.
