Oskar pouted, looking down at his feet, uncertain about the validity of what she was saying.
"You don't know that. I could have a terrible accident. My dad didn't think he was going to die, but you just don't know!" he told her, getting himself more and more frustrated. Oh, this wasn't going well. He'd started off so strong, and now he was screwing it all up again. He wrapped his arms around his body to stop himself falling apart.
