Maryanne had been bouncing about all day. Happy to the point of almost being hyper. While there was nothing wrong with being Eames, the tattoos were very nice, she was glad that it didn't last more than a few days. She knew then that she was well and thoroughly addicted to Clint. To everything about him. Shortly after lunch she stopped by the pub, to make use of her oven. She kneaded dough, folded it, pushed it out into a broad flat circle. Spreading the already made sauce, something she'd done days ago, and had let simmer for hours before putting it in a glass jar with cheesecloth over so it could build a better taste, sprinkling mozzarella, and topping with pepperoni. Realizing after the fact that she hadn't asked what kind of pizza Lucky liked, but hoping for the best. While the confection baked, she bounded upstairs where she kept a few things in case she got too messy while working. Knowing the striped shirt she wanted was there, with the short short black shorts. Along with a little makeup. Feeling a little silly, she penciled on a little mustache just under her nose, added one of the waist aprons, and by the time the pizza was done, she was ready. Wrapping it up, on the pizza platter because she had nothing else to put it on, she was out the door. It was a short walk to Stark Tower. One she made often, and she practically bounced on her toes the whole way. Yet. Once she reached his door. She stood. Staring at it for a minute. Knowing she was being pretty silly. Nerve had waned a bit as she stood there, and almost had her turning around and going back. Changing her mind about the whole thing. The only thing that stopped her, as she chewed her lower lip, was the light pawing at the door. Her mind was made up. She rapped against the door, even though she had a key in her pocket. Cheeky grin in place, as she held the pizza platter shoulder level. Not caring one bit that she might look absolutely ridiculous rather than the slightly silly sexy that she was going for. |
