Jake was back on his feet in an instant, running over towards Tommy as fast as he could go. "Hey!" he yelled back, somehow managing to keep his questions until they were a bit closer and he wasn't shouting across the park. "It worked, is it okay? It worked fine? How does it feel? What do you think of it? It's great, isn't it?" His rapid-fire questioning hit Tommy soon enough, as Jake skidded to a stop in front of his brother and started to look him over.
After a few seconds, he stood up straight, bowed and saluted to his brother. "Oel ngati kameie, Tommy." It probably would have seemed a lot more serious if Jake had been able to keep from grinning, and if his tail could have stayed still, but there was no way either of those two things were going to happen.
