Who: Rarity & Logan When: Aug 20, mid-morning Where: Outskirts of the Forest What: Rarity seems to be in danger Rating: Mid-level??? Closed Ongoing
Carefully picking her way through the edge of the field into the forest, Rarity huffed and groaned and muttered to herself in irritation. Why oh WHY did she think the forest would have anything of value in it? She couldn't say. She had merely woken up this morning inspired for fashion, missing her friends, and thought there would be no better way than to go out and find something from the world to be as a centerpiece for her new fashion line. She wasn't about to stop designing just because she was in a human body on a strange island in the middle of no where.
Everyone needed fashion. Everyone.
So she carefully stepped over some fallen branches from a storm and picked up smaller twigs with leaves still on them. "Maybe a coronet?" she asked to herself, turning the stick, bending it this way and that, before throwing it aside. "Nope." She carried on, still on the skirts of the wood but it was growing dark. No one had told her this was such an unsafe place. Maybe the island needed a set of rules, a handbook of some sort, for those new to arriving. That would have certainly saved this once-mare from her current fiasco.
Something cracked in the distance, in the dark, and Rarity looked toward it. Her eyes squint slightly, as if she were trying to use her magical horn to light the way, but she had no horn and no magic. Earth ponies were so boring...But that was not an argument to be had, now. There was another crack, and then a fierce screech. Rarity went still, stunned in fear, as she looked up at some....thing. Really, she wasn't quite sure what it was. Dropping the few things she had kept, including a little bag she had stolen from around the town, she began to run.
"Shoo! Go away!" she shout back at the beast as it chased after her through the wood. There was a loud thud, a thunderous sound that shook the local ground, and then Rarity's piercing scream.
