Abigail was still a bit out of sorts with the whole 'trapped on a magical island' situation she found herself in. The only reason she was certain she hadn't lost her mind or that it wasn't some Mesan trick was it was too crazy even for that. Not even in her wildest imagination could she have come up with a situation like this, and she very much doubted anyone else could either. If it were the Mesans they wouldn't have gone to such elaborate lengths, they'd have simply drugged her to the gills and gotten as much intelligence out of her as they could and shot her after. So, while however crazy, it had to be true. And if it were true then it had to be one of the most incredible Tests any Grayson had thrown their way.
In that case, what harm could it do to talk to one of these ancients who was curious about where Abigail had come from and what the universe was like? She walked into the diner, still in uniform since she didn't have anything else at the moment. The young officer glanced around for...Juliet she thought the other woman's name was but couldn't quite remember.
