Steve knew what they had to do, that the boy needed to be talked to rather than blindly attacked for something he may not have realized was wrong. Things of this nature were...questionable at best, even during the time he and Peggy were from and he knew here were people here from far earlier than they were or were from different worlds completely and if that happened to be the case here, attacking the boy without explaining what he'd done wrong wouldn't help anything. And he agreed with Peggy, nodding a bit as she spoke. "And thank you, for trusting us with this. I'm sure this young lady will appreciate the discretion as well." he murmured, knowing he'd be unable to even imagine what she'd already been through, never mind having the entire island know about it on top of all that.
