He nodded slowly. "It sounds like the Other is already fully manifested in you." He blew out a long breath, then nodded.
"There are too options. We can continue to try to deny it, working on the meditation and hoping it will work if you learn to push and fight hard enough. Or... we can work on countermeditation, where instead of denying it, you accept it, and use the hunger itself to control it. "
he held up a hand. "Imagine the first technique as you standing facing a tidal wave, armed with heat, light, earth and air. You might win, if you can figure out how, and you might not. Imagine the second way as you armed with a surf board instead, with a speed boat nearby. Instead of fighting the hunger, you use it, ride it, and control it by accepting it as normal, and not separate completely. This keeps the manifested part of it from growing strong enough to control you... maybe."
He looked down. "It's what I use. Since I tried the first way, and failed. It means that, there may be times when the Hunger escapes, and you can't stop it, but those would be rare, and there could even be times when you can control the hunger and use it to your advantage."
