Steven winced when the baby smacked him, rubbing his cheek. "He really doesn't." He chuckled softly, then helped the baby up onto the couch. "Hey there, little guy. I've got something for you." He reached over to the end table and set the bear down in front of the baby. "Thank you so much for leaving him to keep me company."
