Cutler was wary of this meeting. Anyone that murdered someone and was happy to die for it was a little unbalanced in his book. Then again, he'd murdered more than once and had been happy to get away with it. So what did that say about him? But he did not come to undeath a murderer. And he'd dealt with more than enough reckless vampires who simply enjoyed killing things, blood or no. That's not to say he didn't appreciate it himself. He certainly made light of it. And in particular company it was hard not to get caught up in it all. He enjoyed it when it fit in with his plans, when there was some amount of vengeance involved, and when the person was horribly irritating. But otherwise it could be a bit of a hassle. Cleaning up, disposing of bodies. The blood was always worth it though. Always. But the fact of the matter remained. He did not want to be responsible for a new vampire. Especially not one that had already proven herself to be both homicidal and suicidal. He didn't want to be brought down because of her actions. Plus, there were hardly enough people here to satisfy him safely. He couldn't really expect people to offer more for her because she wanted to become a vampire and he acquiesced. He doubted that would go down well at all. But. Cutler could use someone like Enigma. Someone a little reckless. Someone who might be willing to bleed for him. Obviously not now, as she'd lost a lot of blood during her rather horrific arrival, but at some point down the track perhaps. And that's why he was heading up to indulge her. He'd had a mouthful of blood from one of the bags he'd found and promptly stolen at the hospital, before making his way to her apartment. Hopefully it would fool him for all of five minutes until he was settled. Cutler had a box of chocolates he'd stolen as a get well gift, and he attempted to clear his mind of all references as he had promised he would. He doubted it would work, but this was happening now either way. He knocked on the door of the apartment as a courtesy, before letting himself in. "Hello," he called, peering around. Would she be resting in her room or in the common area? |
