Clint could almost feel the disgust rolling off her as he made his breakfast, more so than he should have and he glared at the tether around their ankles a moment before he added the steak to the pan. "Could you try not to be so dramatically disgusted by whatever it is bothering you right now?" he asked, a little exasperated. He liked his food and really didn't want to feel grossed out eating it. He raised an eyebrow, knowing the amount of protein in her fruit would get him through maybe his warm up. "Yeah...that wouldn't work for me." he just commented, turning back to his food and stirring it around the pan until the eggs were done and he dumped them on to a plate. It wasn't elegant or gourmet by any means but it would fill him up and let him get through his workout. "Usually I run but uh, doubt we'll be able to do that. The parkour and climbing will have to wait too..." he sighed with a quiet curse under his breath. "I guess I can focus on target practice, maybe try out some new arrows. Maybe come back to the gym here and use some weights or the treadmill." he was murmuring to himself more than her at the end of it, trying to figure out what he'd actually be able to do stuck to a teenage girl. He glanced up with a raised eyebrow though, when she mentioned the pub, taking a few big bites of his breakfast before shrugging. "I guess. I'll just...get some food or something." he commented but really, he knew that if Maryanne was there he wouldn't mind spending the afternoon in the pub. If she wasn't he'd just sneak his hearing aids out and try to keep himself busy on his phone.
