WHO: Merry Brandybuck and Eric Northman WHAT: Empathy Bond! WHEN: Monday morning, before dawn (so Eric doesn't die) WHERE: Outside Merry's hobbit hole STATUS: Closed/Ongoing WARNINGS: TBD
Ah, how nice it was to have a Hobbit Hole. Merry had just finished moving his things in the day before, and was enjoying the comfort and beauty of his new place. He was proud of it, like he'd been proud of no other dwelling he'd lived in. It was beautiful! Designed by the premier architect in all of Middle Earth! At any time! And it was comfortable and roomy, and made him feel at home - which he really hadn't done since he'd arrived here several months ago.
So last night he'd fixed himself a proper dinner in his proper kitchen, had a smoke while he watched the sunset, then curled up near the fire to read before tucking himself into his comfortable hobbit bed.
Which was...not where he was now.
He was laying on the grass, tied by some crazy string to a very, very tall man. The sun hadn't risen yet, but it had that feeling like it was going to be morning soon. In other words, it was the time of morning he hadn't seen since the War and never really planned to see again. He was a hobbit, after all.
"Sir," he said, trying to keep his voice polite, despite his annoyance with the fact that this guy had dragged him out of his hobbit hole and tied them together. "Sir, wake up. This really isn't very funny, or very clever at all. It's far too early to be up."
