A slow smirk formed on Katherine's lips. "I was thinking if you even breathe in his direction," she replied smartly and placed a slender finger to her chin; the nail perfectly manicured. "Besides, I would probably go after someone you cared about before I went after you, Elena. It's much more fun that way," she finished. "Torturing is so much better than sudden death, you know?" Still, Katherine wished she could kill Elena right here and now. Her death would solve so many problems for the vampire, but mostly, it would allow her a chance at Stefan.
