Step-step-slide, Elodin slid across the marble floor in his socks. He'd long since abandoned his shoes. Well, no, he hadn't arrived with them had he? He hadn't been wearing them back in that--back there, and had since wandered around without them. It felt nice to have the grass underfoot, earth in place of cold stone and ugly carpets. And it was good to have the Wind on his face as he moved through the city. Strange though it was. His bright green eyes, mocking and sharp, peered around without really seeing the walls or the objects or the things inside while he moved through the building. No, he was Seeing Them, beyond them, and it was like he was thumbing through a book so heavy was his attention.
Step-step-step-sliiide. He threw his arms out for balance as he went, and came to a stop in front of a door. His head tilted curiously, and he approached it with the casual grace of a dancer, staring without seeing for just a moment. Footsteps caught his attention briefly and he cast his sharp eyes to the left to see who followed, and half turned.
He waved merrily. Step-step-slide and continued on his way for several more feet. "Where does the moon go when it leaves the sky?" he asked.
