Mac was happy to be out of the hospital. Even though there weren't that many seriously wounded, he knew that the bed he was in should be used for somebody else. Fortunately he had his pony strength back so the walk to Stark Tower wouldn't be too bad. He couldn't quite get his shirt on by himself, though, so he just carried it in his hand as he left the hospital.
Gretel had been out helping clear up the scene, not content to be cooped up inside with Mina and the Hansels for more than a few hours at a time so she decided to go be useful instead. She was carrying hunks of scrap metal under her arms, sweating and wearing just her blouse and some leather shorts she had for hot weather. It was just clean up, after all. Gretel wiped off her brow and tugged her ponytail out, letting her dark hair loosen free.
Mac walked right past where the robots had fallen on the way home and smiled when he saw Gretel. With his shirt off there was just the bandage on his shoulder to cover the wound. "Hey." He walked over to her.
Gretel took a second but she smiled when she saw him, eyeing his chest up and down. "Nice battle wound, Blondie. Going to be a good scar." she picked up some scrap lumber and put it on her shoulder.
Mac chuckled. "Yeah. It got stitched up pretty good but it's still gonna leave a scar." He shrugged. He looked over the debris laying around. "You want some help? I still got one good arm. And I'm stronger again." He smiled.
"You got it back too?" she beamed. Ever since that morning, Gretel's magic element had been stronger than ever and it meant the world to her that Mina was feeling better as well. Gretel shrugged, wiping her forehead, "If you feel like helping, kid."
"Yeah, came back all at once. Felt kind of like a wave hitting me, you know?" He tucked his shirt into one of the belt loops on his jeans, then went to pick up a hunk of metal, handling it easily with one arm.
Gretel walked off with her lumber, "That's exactly it. Like this wave of warmth and then you felt whole again." she grinned happily. "Or so they say."
"That's sure what it felt like to me." He smiled as he followed her. He really hoped that AJ wouldn't spot him as he helped clean up. "Everybody's okay now?" He was, of course, referring to her family.
She nodded a little and led him to the scrap pile, dumping the usable parts. "Yeah, they're all good. Hansel won't leave his daughter for a second but otherwise, everything's fine."
"He left her long enough to help out with the fight." Mac smiled. "That's something, right?"
"Yes." she nodded and walked back to the wreck, "He's devoted. I can't blame him for it. How's your sister?"
"She's good. Happy to be back to normal, that's for sure." He nodded.
"Good." She sifted through the wreckage, "I'm glad you're okay."
"Thanks." He started to look for another piece he could handle one handed. "I'm glad you didn't get hurt." He nodded.
"Me too." she chuckled, "I kind of liked being on the battlefield again, though." She admitted, "It's been a while since I had a real fight with an enemy."
"That was a first for me." He nodded, finally finding a piece of wood and picking it up. "I did kind of like it, though. AJ says it just proves there's more to me than being a farm boy."
"Maybe you'll get another chance, huh?" she sorted through the metal scraps, crouching down.
"All honesty I hope not." He shook his head. "I mean, with training I could probably get better but I wasn't all that good this time around." He made a face.
She picked up another chunk of metal and hauled it up, "You just need more practise, Blondie."
"Think so?" He smiled.
She nodded, "Still alive, ain't you?"
He chuckled and nodded. "That's very true." He smiled, grunting a little as he shifted the wood. "Can I ask you something?"
She hauled the scrap onto her shoulder and walked back to the pile. "You can ask, I might not answer."
"Fair enough." He nodded, walking along with her. "Would you be willing to help me move out of the penthouse? Can't do it myself right now and AJ's just gonna get all weepy."
She nodded, "I can help. Can I ask why you're moving out?"
"I just think I need a space of my own." He shrugged. "And I'm kind of tired of them keeping me up at night." He made a face.
She smirked, "Hey if I were with Tony Stark, I'd make some noise too." she laughed, "But I get you."
He shook his head. "I think it's great that they're so happy together but I don't need to hear it." He added the piece of wood he had to the pile. "And I ain't moving far. Just down to one of the apartments in the lower floors."
"Good thing I don't have to haul shit across three floors." She laughed, "You feel like a cold one, Blondie?"
He nodded. "Yeah, I could use a drink." He smiled. "Maybe I should get my shirt on before we head intro the pub, though." He chuckled.
"Why? I'm enjoying the view, don't spoil my fun." She tugged off her workmen's gloves and ran her fingers through her hair.
He smiled. "Alright. Certainly wouldn't want to ruin your fun." He winked at her
"Gorgeous, you are my fun." she smirked and headed off in the direction of the pub.
Mac blushed a little. "Thanks." He couldn't keep from grinning as he followed her. "Too bad I ain't up for a bit of fun right now. Unless you're willing to take it easy on me." But he figured she wouldn't want to.
"You're good. I can't take much after yesterday either." she chuckled. "It's just not much fun drinking alone."
He nodded. "That very true." He smiled. "Maybe this time I can keep my pants on."
"Bet you ten imaginary bucks that you won't." she pushed open the door to the pub
He chuckled. "But imaginary money isn't any fun to bet with. What else you got?" He raised an eyebrow as he stepped into the pub. He had a momentary feeling that he was the girl in the relationship but just shook it off.
Gretel thought for a moment, considering their options. "Alright, I win I get something I want from you, no questions and you can't say no, and vice versa."
He nodded. "That sounds fair. Winning gets anything they want no questions no refusals from the loser." He held his hand out to shake on it.
She looked at him for a second, glaring. "Deal." Gretel smirked, shaking his hand.
He shook her hand and nodded. "No getting me real drunk on purpose. That's cheating. Beer only. Okay?"
"Can you get drunk on just beer?" she asked, motioning for a couple of bottles.
"If I drink enough of it." He chuckled.
"Well then." she slid his beer to him. "Drink."
He smiled and picked up the beer, holding it out. "To having fun."
"Cheers to that." she waited until he started to sip and then tipped up the base of his bottle so he swallowed more.
Mac coughed a couple of times and chuckled as some of the beer dribbled down his chin. "So you're playing it that way, huh?" He shook his head.
She smirked dangerously, "I didn't mention that I do anything to win?"
"No you didn't." He chuckled and sipped his beer.
"Bad for you." she smirked and sipped her beer.
"Not really." He shrugged. "Just proves you really want to get my pants off." He chuckled.
"I want to win." she shrugged and sipped her drink again, "And I will win."
"It's good to be confident." He chucked and sipped his beer. "And given my history, you're probably right."
"I always win." she grinned and drained her beer. "Another!"
He laughed and finished off his best as well, setting the bottle on the bar. "Do you always cheat?" He smirked and sipped the next beer.
"Yup." she sipped her beer slower, "And I always win. There's correlation in that."
"And if I asked Hansel?" He raised an eyebrow before sipping his beer again
"He'd probably say the same." she nodded and tipped his beer again. "Oops."
This time he managed to swallow most of it, though dome still dribbled down his chin and dripped onto his chest. "You know you ain't gotta cheat. I've yet to keep my pants on when drunk."
"I just like to make sure." she grinned, sipping her drink. "You're not as much of a stiff as I thought."
"You thought I was a stiff?" He chuckled and downed half the beer.
She shrugged, "Entitled to an opinion, aren't I?"
He nodded and sipped his beer. "Yeah. Just ain't sure why you thought that is all."
"I'm not good at womanly intuition." she laughed
"But, I mean, did you think I wouldn't want to have fun or something?" He sipped his beer
Gretel thought for a moment, "I don't know. I guess so. You seem like a stuck up stiff sometimes."
"Well, if you'd have met me when I first got here you'd have been right. Not about the stuck up part, though." He shrugged and tried to hide the wince as he moved his hurt shoulder a little wrong. "But I've loosened up a bit since then." He grinned and sipped his beer.
She just laughed, "Yeah right. Like you'd do something insane for the fuck of it."
"'Course I would. Are you forgetting our night right upstairs?" He pointed with his beer bottle before taking a drink.
She laughed, "You think that's insane? Oh Blondie. You really haven't lived."
"It might not be insane but it was just for the hell of it." He chuckled.
"I bet." she smirked, "Hey, insanity is all well and good, I spose." She finished her second beer, spilling some 'accidentally' on his pants.
"Well, what exactly counts as insane?" He tilted his head as he looked at her. "I did lay around naked in the sun the other day. With that cat lady. Just because I felt like it. Does that count?" He sipped his beer.
Gretel barked out in laughter, sipping her cold beer. She tried to imagine him with a cat lady in the sun and kept laughing, "Oh Blondie, you have no idea how boring that sounds. I once got rescued by an evil troll called Edward."
He made a face and sipped his beer. "I guess he ain't exactly evil if he rescued you."
"He was alright in the end." She shrugged, "I bit a guy's nose off once. And then Edward literally decapitated him with his fist."
He shook his head. "You had a really violent life back home, huh?"
She nodded a little. "Some witches tried to kill us before we turned 10. It's all been violent. Kill or be killed."
"I'm sorry you had to deal with that." He sipped his beer.
Gretel sipped her beer and shrugged again, "It is what it is. I'm a white witch so they all wanted my heart for some spell shit or whatever."
"Can you do any spells or anything?" He smiled s little before sipping his beer.
She rolled her eyes, "No, genius. If I could, I would have used them on you by now." she grinned and sipped her beer, "It's just a feeling inside me. Can't really explain it. Hansel's daughter has it too."
He chuckled and nodded. "If you could learn the spells would you want to?" He downed the rest of his beer and ordered another.
She downed the last of her beer, shrugging again, "I don't know. I guess so."
He sipped the new beer when it was placed in front of him. "I think it'd be cool."
"Yeah well." she ran her fingers through her hair, "You know, I gotta get back." she leapt off the stool and headed for the door, "You win."
"Oh okay." He nodded, sipping his beer. "I guess I'll see you later then?" He wondered if it was something he said but kept that thought to himself.
"See you." she walked out the door, biting the inside of her cheek. Gretel had to stop herself from punching a wall. She hated talking about the magic part of her, hated thinking that she was a witch too. She needed to talk to Hansel.
Mac sat there for about a second before he put his beer down and got up, following her out of the pub. "Gretel wait. I'm sorry. We can talk about something else."
She was walking slowly home when she heard him call her name, "Don't worry about it. Seriously." she turned around and glanced at him. "It's not... not a part of me really."
He caught up to her and smiled softly. "I get it." He nodded. "Still kind of getting used to it or would rather not have it at all?"
"Both." she admitted softly, rubbing her arms. "I erm... I went without it for those weeks and now... I don't know." she shook her head.
He nodded. "Well, like I said. We don't gotta talk about that right now."
Gretel crossed her arms, "What do you want to talk about then?"
He ran his fingers through his hair. "We could talk about you trying to win the bet." He smirked.
She laughed and dropped her arms, walking up to him and pushing him back towards the bar, "I always win."
"That's what you said." He smiled and turned back toward the pub
"And I have follow through." she snuck a cheeky grope of his ass. "Remember our bet, don't you?"
He jumped a little and laughed. "Yes I do. My pants come off and you get whatever you want from me. No arguments or questions."
"One precedes the other, I suppose." she dragged him inside, picking up two bottles of beer from behind the bar. "Drink."
"Both of them?" He smirked and took the first bottle.
"Yes. Take them down in a minute and I'll go up there," she gestured to the rooms upstairs, "And I'll do a strip dance for you."
"Both beers in one minute, huh?" He raised an eyebrow. "I can do that." He chuckled
"Alright." she grinned and snatched a third. "Three in one minute, then."
He nodded. "Deal." He took a deep breath and started on the first one
She smirked as she watched him. Nobody could down three beers in under one minute.
Mac finished the first beer quickly and started on the second. When that one was done he quickly downed the third beer and set the bottle on the bar. "Done."
She narrowed her eyes at him, looking up at the clock. "You... you must have cheated."
"How could I have cheated?" He laughed, which turned into s rather loud belch. Mac blushed and covered his mouth. "Pardon me. That was unintended."
Gretel cringed a little. "Ew."
"Sorry." He cleared his throat. "But, I didn't cheat."
Gretel narrowed her eyes at him. "I suppose. Not that I'd give a fuck."
"Oh you totally give a fuck. You didn't win. And I bet it's just eating at you like a flea on a dog." He chuckled.
She clenched her jaw, "I have to give you a lapdance, don't I?" she didn't really care about the prize, more that he'd won.
"You don't have to if you don't want to." He shrugged and got another beer, taking a sip.
"I don't break my bets." she grabbed his arm and hauled him up.
He chuckled a little and got to his feet. "Alright. We can go upstairs. But the bet was a strip tease not a lap dance." He grinned. "And I'm taking this beer with me."
"God, you are fucking cut." she groaned, dragging him upstairs. "Strip tease it is!"
He chuckled and sipped his beer as he followed her. "Now, if my pants come off after you're naked does that count?" He smirked.
"Only if you want them off." she grinned a little, not letting him see and pushed open the door to one of the rooms. "I don't have any music."
"Um..." He scratched his neck. "Do you need music?"
"No, but it makes it better." She pushed him to sit on the bed.
He sat down and shifted a little, sipping his beer. "I could him something if you want."
"If you like." she smirked and stepped in between his legs.
He looked up at her and grinned. He started humming a random tune that popped into his head.
She laughed, a little drunk, and danced to the tune he was humming. She started to unbutton her blouse with her fingertips, moving her body in waves.
"You're real pretty." He sang it rather than saying it to keep the music going.
She laughed again and pulled her shirt off slowly, jiggling a little. "Thanks kind stranger."
"No problem." He smiled as he watched her. The humming only paused when he took a sip of his beer. He'd had enough that he had a good buzz going but not enough to lose his pants just yet.
She ran her fingers from her collar to the waistband of her pants, turning around so her back was facing him as she attempted to half-dance.
Mac reached up and lightly ran his fingers down her back. He shifted a little in his seat. It was definitely having an effect.
Her fingers unzipped her shorts and she bent forward as she peeled them down her legs in front of him. She still swayed to the tine he was humming.
Mac finished off the beer and set the bottle on the floor. With both hands empty he couldn't resist running his hands over her ass and squeezing gently.
She moaned softly and stood back up, turning around and reaching for the hooks on her bra. "This off too, Blondie?"
He nodded, looking up at her. "Definitely." He grinned, his hands still on her hips.
Gretel unhooked her bra and let it slide from her chest, still moving. She licked her finger and trailed it from her sternum to her bellybutton, grinning.
Mac licked his lips as he watched her. His hands were just resting on her hips so he wouldn't stop the dancing. He leaned in and kissed between her breasts, smiling.
"Someone up?" she smirked, taking his fingers and putting them on the elastic waistband of her white cotton panties. "Tug hard."
He moved up a little to kiss her neck. "He's up alright." He chuckled and did as he was told. He hooked his thumbs in the waistband of her panties and pulled hard, easily ripping them off of her.
She gasped a little and ran her fingers over his shoulders, "Blondie... you gonna take advantage of a sweet thing like me?"
"Sure am, sugar cube." He grinned and pulled her closer. He got to his feet and turned her so her back was to the bed. "Just need you to lie down for me." He then kissed that spot on her neck that he knew drove her crazy.
She moaned a little as he kissed her neck and she fell onto the bed, giggling. "Oh how do you always win in this relationship? I never lose and you got me wrapped around that little finger of yours, Muscle Man." she laughed again, "You're stronger than I remember too."
"Maybe I'm just that good. But you're about to win that bet." He chuckled as he undid his pants, pushing them down. He almost never wore underwear. He climbed onto the bed over her, kissing his way up her body. He made sure to keep his weight on his good arm. "Got my strength back when the power came back."
She laughed a little, "Maybe you shouldn't be in the driving seat this time, Blondie. You're injured." she pushed gently at his chest, mindful of his wounds, "Just lay down."
Mac nodded. "Alright, I can do that." He chuckled and rolled onto his back, though he was careful of his shoulder. He licked his lips as he looked at her.
She kissed down his chest, runnning her fingers up his thighs delicately. "Tell me what you want."
He closed his eyes and moaned softly. "I want you to lick me." He lifted his head and looked down at her, smiling.
She quirked her eyebrow at him, "Lick you where?" her tongue darted out at the muscles of his stomach. "There?
His stomach muscles tensed a little and he smiled. "Lick me wherever you want. I just want you to lick me."
"Alright, Pony Boy. You asked for it." She traced her tongue in the valleys between his muscles, kissing and biting a little too.
He moaned and lay his head back against the bed. He put one hand on the back of her head and smiled. "Feels real good." He licked his lips. "You're real good with that tongue."
She chuckled and licked up around his nipples, kissing carefully.
He moaned and looked at her, smiling. "Got me all riled up." He chuckled.
Gretel licked back down his muscles, grinning. "Well, you're only human. Part human." She licked his inner thighs, taking long swipes of her tongue.
He closed his eyes again, moaning. "You just gonna keep teasing me, sugar cube?" He chuckled softly. He was really enjoying it.
Gretel smirked just a touch, her tongue working up his thigh, "If you tell me what it is you want, I might just do it."
He sighed a little as he thought about it. Then he chuckled because there was only one way he could think to word it. "I want you to climb up here and ride me." He grinned, deciding not to say the rest of what came to mind.
Gretel laughed softly and shifted to straddle his thighs, grinning down. She shifted her hips so she rubbed herself against his cock teasingly, "Say please."
He put his hands on her hips and looked up at her, smiling a little. "Please." Though it came out more like a moan.
She reached down between them and sunk straight down onto his cock with a shuddering groan, bracing her hands on his waist. She didn't want to hurt his injury any more. "Does this make me a cowboy?" She smirked and pulled her hips slowly up again. "Giddy up and all that?"
Mac moaned loudly, bucking up into her as she settled. He chuckled softly, his thumbs caressing her skin. "Guess so." He smiled. One hand slid up her side and over her shoulder to the back of her head, pulling her down for a passionate kiss.
She kissed him back, slowly building up a steady rhythm as she rode his cock up and down. Gretel swiped her tongue along his, clenching around him tightly.
Mac broke the kiss, gasping as she clenched around him. "Damn." He panted, his hands moving to her hips again.
She moaned and started going faster, putting her hands on his tightly muscled stomach. "Fuck." she bit her lip, bouncing up and down on top of him.
Mac started to thrust up into her, moaning loudly. "Already close.....damn.". He had completely forgotten about his shoulder.
She brought her own fingers down to her clit and started massaging lightly, immediately crying out his name.
He started to thrust even faster and harder, using his hands on her hips for leverage. "Oh god, Gretel... damn."
She cried out suddenly and came around him tightly, "Mac!" she shouted out, pounding her hips down on him.
He couldn't hold back. He moaned loudly as he came, thrusting a few more times. He then went limp on the bed, panting heavily. "Damn."
She made sure not to collapse on top of him. Instead, Gretel panted and stayed on top of him for a second before laying down next to him on the bed. "Fucking hell."
He had to shift onto his left side, sighing a little because it meant facing away from her. His shoulder was hurting enough now that he was afraid he'd popped his stitches, but he didn't say anything. "That was....amazing." He smiled, looking back at her.
She panted a little, "Hey, you alright?" she asked, touching his shoulder with a little concern.
"It hurts." He sighed. "Like....it wasn't hurting before and now it is. Guess the high wore off or something." He chuckled a little.
She got up off the bed, full of concern. "Hey, sit up for me. I'll take a look."
He nodded and sat up, groaning a little. He kept his arm close to his body. "I didn't hurt it, did I?"
"Just let me look and I can tell you." she rolled her eyes and crouched in front of him, looking at the wound, "You popped a couple stitches. Back to the clinic you go and we better not have sex until you're healed up, Blondie."
He sighed. "AJ's going to kill me." He shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. "Guess it's probably best, though. Just so I don't keep hurting myself."
"It's just a popped stitch, you big baby. They happen when you over-reach, that's all." she started pulling on her clothes again
"I know it's just a popped stitch. Don't call me a baby." He stuck his tongue out at her as he started to get dressed.
"You were the one stressing about your sister." she smirked, pulling on her blouse.
He nodded. "That's true. But that's because AJ stresses about everything. Especially when I'm hurt." He shrugged. "So, looks like you won the bet." He smiled.
"We'll call it a draw." she presses a kiss to his lips, "I better get back to Hansel."
Mac kissed back and nodded. "I gotta get back to the clinic to get this fixed up." He smiled. "See you later?"
